The AFK column assumes the chamber's one Lucky Spin every 15 minutes, around the clock (96 a day), and no other spins. Epic and Legendary have no published pity. Cataclysm is the only Lyth on the summon banner, so the 3,500 pity is a Cataclysm guarantee. Hu Tao has her own pity: 35 clears of the Bath House raid.

How pity changed in the first week

The numbers moved three times in three days. If a guide shows different values, it predates the rollback.

  1. October 2, 2026: Pity becomes a total-spins counter: Mythic 175, Arcane 250, Zenless 2,750. Miyabi's pity ships at 12,500 by mistake and is cut to 3,500 the same day; the BIGTYPO code is the apology.
  2. October 4, 2026: Balance patch: only Lucky Spins count, at Mythic 200, Arcane 400, Lyth 3,750. Zenless is renamed Lyth.
  3. October 4, 2026: Rollback the same day after player feedback: every spin counts again at Mythic 175, Arcane 350, Lyth 3,500. This is the current system.

Miyabi (Cataclysm) got her own value on October 2 while the rest of the tier was at 2,750, so pity may be set per weapon. If a second Lyth joins the banner, check its pity in game before saving for it.

Drop rates

The developers publish no rate table, but the summon panel shows a few odds. These come from creators' screens after Update 1; whether the panel shows regular or Lucky Spin odds is not confirmed.

At 0.01%, the chance of pulling Cataclysm before its 3,500 pity is about 30% (our calculation), so roughly seven in ten players will still reach pity first. Older videos quote 0.0001%; the panel contradicts that. Hu Tao's widely shared "0.02%" is also wrong: she is a raid drop at 2%.

Plan around the guarantee, not the odds. Spend spins steadily: no spin is wasted, because each one moves the counter.

FAQ

Do Lucky Spins and regular spins both count toward pity?
Yes. Since the October 4 rollback every spin advances the pity counter. For a few hours on October 4 only Lucky Spins counted, which is why some guides still say otherwise.
Does pity reset when I pull the tier early?
Pity counts spins since your last pull of that tier or higher, so pulling the tier early starts the count again.
What are the drop rates in Anime Zero?
The developers have not published a rate table. Creators' summon panels after Update 1 show Cataclysm at 0.01% and Cursed King and Divine Emperor at 0.6% each. Hu Tao is not on the banner; she drops from the Bath House raid at 2%, guaranteed within 35 clears.
Is there pity for Epic and Legendary weapons?
No published pity. Only Mythic, Arcane and Lyth have a guarantee.
